We had a superb time in Morocco on a week-long tour with Morocco Accessible Travel Consultants. Our adventures ranged from the cities to the mountains with activities that we could never have done on our own (like navigating the 9,000 alleyways of the medina in Fez with a wheelchair!). Jeremy and Erik were insightful, helpful, and very responsive about the needs that we had for this trip and made all the right plans for us.
I was skeptic about whether or not I could go to Morocco but I was pleasantly surprised. The places I stayed were accessible for my needs but MATC has an extensive questionnaire to accommodate your needs. I use a wheelchair and I travelled alone so I hired a person in addition to the driver to help me. Also, as a woman I felt safe. Everyone was so helpful and would highly recommend MATC.
I couldn’t have done it without MATC and especially Hamid. Jeremy was very detailed with the planning and Erik jumped in with options when the airline forget my wheelchair in Paris. This was my first solo international trip so I didn’t know how it would all go down.
I really cannot express how lucky I am to have Hamid as my driver. His kindness, punctuality, professionalism, and everything exceeded my expectations. I could go on and on. My 12 nights and 13 days were absolutely magical. The culture and people are simply amazing and Hamid was the cherry on top. I actually cried saying goodbye to him. He is a very special person and you will be incredibly lucky if he is dedicated to you for your experience.
